Sally Tagg will be taking up the post of Planning Expert from the May edition onwards giving advice to readers on planning related issues.

The magazine also holds several exhibitions throughout the year which gives the opportunity for visitors to voice their questions to a panel of development specialists. Sally will be a regular member of the ‘ask the expert panel’.

Sally recently appeared at the NEC Birmingham where she gave a presentation on the Planning Maze which explained the basic principles of the planning system.

“The NEC was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I was really surprised to see the number of self builders that are actively searching for plots and proactively developing. Like any development there are frustrations with the flexibility of the planning process and I tried to explain to the visitors  reasoning behind Planning Authorities comments and decisions” Sally Tagg
