Directions from M5, Junction 11
Follow the signs for Cheltenham Town Centre (A40) past GCHQ on your left. At the roundabout take the second exit, towards the Town Centre. On Lansdown Road you will pass TGI Fridays and a Shell garage on your right. Continue straight on through traffic lights and follow road to Texaco Garage on an island on the right hand side (known as Westall Green). Go straight towards Town Centre (bus lane on your left). Go over the pedestrian crossing (lights). At the next roundabout take the second left (onto Parabola Road), follow road to the next roundabout, turn right onto Bayshill Road, continue to the end of road to the traffic lights, passing the Ladies College, and go straight over at the traffic lights. Then take the first left turn onto St Georges Terrace/St James Square. Continue towards the roundabout. At the roundabout go straight over (onto Jessop Avenue), we are the second building on the left hand side.
Directions from M4/A417, Junction 15
From the M4, leave at junction 15 signposted A346/A419 – take the 3rd exit. Continue Straight over all roundabouts on the A419/417 for approximately 30 miles (Cheltenham). At the roundabout by the ‘Air Balloon’ pub, take 2nd exit. Turn left at the first turning – signposted ‘Leckhampton’ and continue down the hill to the roundabout. Go straight ahead and through 2 sets of traffic lights. This is Bath Road, follow road down the hill, turning left onto one-way system – (Oriel Road). Follow the one-way system through three sets of traffic lights then take the next right turn into St George Place and then next left St Georges Terrace/St James Square. Continue towards the roundabout. At the roundabout go straight over (onto Jessop Avenue), we are the second building on the left hand side.
Directions from Oxford (A40)
Continue along the A40 until you reach the pedestrianised Town Centre. Move into the right-hand lane and follow the road round to the left. Turn right into Oriel Road follow the one way system through three sets of traffic lights then take the next right turn into St George Place and then next left St Georges Terrace/St James Square. Continue towards the roundabout. At the roundabout go straight over (onto Jessop Avenue), we are the second building on the left hand side.
Park and Ride (Arle Court)
There is a Park and Ride service at Arle Court – best used if accessing Cheltenham from the west (Gloucester). Parking is free and there is a bus service operating at 10-minute intervals to and from Cheltenham Town Centre. Take the bus to the Promenade and walk towards the fountain and turn right onto St Georges continue walking and turn right onto St Georges Place and then next left St Georges Terrace/St James Square. Continue towards the roundabout. At the roundabout go straight over (onto Jessop Avenue), we are the second building on the left hand side. (Approximately 10 minute walk)
Directions for Cheltenham Spa Railway Station
There is a bus stop outside the station. Bus ‘D’ will take you to Cheltenham Town Centre – Lower High Street at 15-minute intervals. With Tescos on your right walk away from the main shopping area towards the lower High Street and turn left onto Ambrose Street. At the church turn right and then immediately left. At the next roundabout turn right on to Jessop Avenue (3rd exit), we are the second building on the left hand side.
Parking
Car parking for visitors is available at the Front of Festival House. Continue past the main reception entrance, and parking is available on your left (subject to availability, if no spaces are available on the left hand side ask at reception, who will find you an alternative space).

From the M1 Motorway
Leave the M1 motorway at junction 14 and at the roundabout take the exit for the A509. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Childs Way (A4146). Continue straight over at the next six roundabouts on Childs Way, and at the South Saxon Roundabout take the third exit (right) onto Saxon Gate. Turn left onto Avebury Boulevard. Then take the third left onto South Fifth Street. Turn right onto South Row, and continue to the end of the road where you will find the entrance to Luminous House on the left.
From the A5
At the Portway Roundabout, take the exit for the A509. At the next roundabout take the third exit onto Grafton Gate. Continue south, straight over at the lights and first roundabout. At the next roundabout take the left exit for Avebury Boulevard. Continue straight over at the lights (with Sainsbury’s on your right). Then turn left on to South Fifth Street. Continue straight, then turning right onto South Row. Continue to the end of the road where you will find the entrance to Luminous House on the left.
