Poole Quarter Car Parking

Important Information for Residents : Changes to Parking on Poole Quarter

The management of parking across Poole Quarter has experienced a number of challenges since the occupation of the development, which has led to inadequate implementation of parking controls, and parking abuse by residents and visitors to the development.

Crest Nicholson recognise these ongoing issues, and as a result has therefore instructed Foxley Tagg Planning Limited to act on their behalf to rectify parking controls through the implementation of a new parking management strategy.  This differs from the previous scheme in its implementation, and once set up the scheme will continue to be managed by Foxley Tagg.

The purpose of starting a fresh parking permit scheme is to ensure that all residents living at Poole Quarter have a new permit which enables them to park in a legitimate space, in the knowledge that they will not be clamped by the parking enforcement company ‘Frontline’. In the interim Frontline have been instructed to clamp unauthorised parked vehicles on the roads throughout the development.

Working together with you as a community, Foxley Tagg, Crest Nicholson and the Residents Association want to ensure that the new parking permit scheme works and enables hassle free parking for eligible residents. Once the new permit scheme is fully operational clamping will commence in parking bays and on the road. Residents are therefore encouraged to use the more sustainable modes of travel available from the site (e.g. car share, public transport, car club). Please see and return the attached questionnaire in respect of alternative options for travel in respect of the Poole Quarter Travel Plan.

The new parking strategy to be implemented by Foxley Tagg Planning commencing from this point, will involve the distribution of new parking permits across the development, which will enable eligible households to each park in a single allocated parking bay. All vehicles found to be parked outside their allocated bay, or not presenting the relevant permit for a particular bay will be subject to parking enforcement.

Enforcement of the new parking strategy will be in accordance with the new terms agreed with both Foxley Tagg Planning and the Borough of Poole.

To ensure that you are part of this new scheme and receive a new parking permit prior to the introduction of the new parking enforcement, eligible residents must pre-register for a new parking permit.
