This flagship urban regeneration project, developed by Crest Nicholson (South)| Ltd, has led to the sensitive redevelopment of a former gasworks site in central Poole for over 500 residential units. This is a large and complex project, which needed to address site contamination and remediation issues as well as design, transportation, access, hydrology/ecology issues and affordable housing provision.
This high-density, high-quality urban renewal scheme has set the pace for the dynamic and comprehensive reshaping of this part of the town. Foxley Tagg were responsible for the overall project management of the entire planning process, which included a complex Environmental Statement, management of detailed architectural input and development of the first Residential Travel Plans in the UK.

The 512-unit scheme, which
blends together a range of accommodation types and tenures around well-designed avenues and vistas, including “play streets” and provision of social spaces which will allow residents to interact easily. Located within easy walking distance of Poole town centre and the historic Poole Quay, the scheme has also enabled major improvements to the local ROUTEONE bus service.
