The Route ONE Bus Service
Linking Poole Quarter to the Town Centre, Poole Quay, local bus and rail stations and the hospital, the Route One is a low floor bus service with level access for people with pushchairs or who use wheelchairs. The Route One services operate Monday to Saturday, with the round trip taking under 25 minutes.

Cycling
Poole Quarter is designed to provide easy access to the Town Centre and to local shops, parks and services on foot and by bicycle. There is a marked-out central cycle route, which crosses Seldown Bridge Road at a signal-controlled crossing, and links through to Baiter Park.
There is secure underground parking in each main apartment block, which is well lit and equipped with stands and which will soon also be provided with cycle pumps for use by Poole Quarter residents. Visitors can use the public cycle stands located throughout the site, or the secure cycle parking area, if met by a resident.

Car Club
Poole is home to Commonwheels Car Club, providing residents with the use of a brand new community car. The Car Club allows residents to hire this vehicle as and when required, at an affordable low cost. There is currently one new fuel efficient car available on the site, however further cars will be available as demand increases. Ideal for a day trip out, shopping or special journeys, residents can save on car ownership and running costs with the Poole Quarter Car Club.

Open to residents and people living in the area, users of the car sharing scheme can halve the cost of getting to work, save money on parking, meet new people and help the environment.

Voucher & Discount Scheme
Two £50 Travel Vouchers will be issued to every household in the Poole Quarter development upon the purchase of a property, which can be used towards local transport initiatives including: Bus travel, rail travel, bicycle and/or safety equipment purchases at local shops, Poole Quarter car club membership.
Details on the businesses accepting these vouchers and providing commercial discounts are available in the Travel Plan Information Packs issued upon purchase of a property from Crest Nicholson.
Local Highway Improvements
As part of the Poole Quarter scheme, Crest Nicholson have contributed to the funding for improvements to local roundabouts to help ease traffic flow and to increase the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. In addition, a new lay-by has been constructed on Newfoundland Drive where visitors can park under a pay and display system now operated by Poole Borough Council.
